Fort De Soto, Tierra Verde, Fl

Fort De Soto offers plenty of activities like camping, picnic tables, nature and walking trails, two fishing piers, ferry service to egmont and shell key, dog park, beaches, and much more.

This is one of the rooms in the Fort that you get to tour.

The quartermaster building has been made into a museum. 

 

There is a quiet self guided nature trail with signs that explain plants and all kinds of critters. 

 

At the end the trail I found this.

This is the second pier.  It also had a gift shop that sold bait and food.
